One of Cuoco’s favorite ways to stay in shape is doing yoga. She tells Shape Magazine that she loves doing different types of yoga classes as often as she can. “Doing yoga five times a week has transformed my body. I love being toned and having muscle; it’s so sexy and beautiful. And I owe it 100 percent to yoga. I go to a place called CorePower Yoga.
One morning I’ll take the Hot Power Fusion class, which is an amazing calorie burner. Or I’ll take a Yoga Sculpt class, where we wear three-pound weights during yoga moves. The sculpt classes include 20 seconds of mountain climbing or jumping jacks between the poses, so I get cardio, too.”
Cuoco tells Shape Magazine that she tries to eat healthy. However, she does still like to have a day that she indulges. “I have to have a cheat day. I know when I’m being good all week long that come Sunday, I’m going to lie by the pool, have a drink, and eat some pizza.
Then I wake up on Monday morning and I’m all ready to start the week again. I’m just going to be in a bad mood all the time if there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.”
Cuoco’s trainer, Ryan Sorensen, shared the actress’ wellness and health secrets in an interview with E! News. Sorsensen said that Cuoco makes sure to stay hydrated each day. “She drinks close to a gallon of water a day,” he shared. “She doesn’t drink alcohol very often. When you have all those things clicking and going in your favor, I mean, you’re doing the right thing.”
Sorensen told E! News that Cuoco likes to do virtual sessions with him to keep her in shape. He says that this helped keep her in shape during the pandemic. “You just don’t know when she’s going to have the time, but she’ll usually just text me and we’ll do some Zoom calls,” he said. “It really consists of some bodyweight exercises and just fine-tuning and keeping her moving a little bit.”
Sorensen tells E! News that Cuoco makes sure to get some type of workout every day, no matter how big or small. “It’s just a matter of her just feeling good and waking up the next day like not being too sore and ready to hit it again,” he said. “She gets 10,000 steps in a day. She always tries to do some sort of physical activity, whether it’s with me, whether it’s with yoga or riding horses.”
