Kaley Cuoco just dropped one heck of a curve display. The “Big Bang Theory” alum’s Wednesday night Instagram stories were nearly all promo for just-released HBO Max series “The Flight Attendant,” with the 35-year-old posting another shot of her plunging black dress look while channeling her thriller’s alter ego, Cassandra Bowden. Kaley, followed by 6.2 million, was crouching down, she was looking drop-dead gorgeous, and her “All tangled up in a mess” caption shouted out a character who definitely isn’t Penny. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Kaley, who starred as Penny on “BBT” and endured over a decade of triple knocks from on-screen pain in the butt Sheldon Cooper, is now channeling a different persona. Her flight attendant character Cassandra Bowden comes as an alcoholic mess tangled up in a dead body mystery – fitting that Kaley is wearing black here.
The shot showed the blonde near-kneeling and indoors amid curved rattan furnishings and white straw fluff. A low-cut and clingy black dress flaunted Kaley’s every curve, with the bombshell finish a classy one.
Kaley, who tagged both the series and HBO Max, added a “TOMORROW” for a new episode – the miniseries has a total eight episodes in its first season.
If you haven’t watched “The Flight Attendant” yet, it sees Kaley’s character Cassandra waking up hungover in a hotel room and with a dead body lying next to her. The role, one that Kaley has called ideal after years of comedy on “Big Bang,” is now also seeing the star open up on returning to the screen after the CBS series ended in 2019. More below.
“The Flight Attendant,” based on a book by the same name and produced by Kaley’s Yes, Norman Productions, is actually something Kaley came across randomly.
“I was flipping through Amazon one afternoon, and I saw a sentence for this book, The Flight Attendant. On the cover was a blonde who kind of looked like me, and the plot was something like “fun-loving, drunk flight attendant wakes up next to a dead body and doesn’t know what to do next and flees,” Kaley told Interview Mag, then immediately calling her team.
Kaley, who starred on “8 Simple Rules” ahead of her tenure on “BBT,” added:
“In the sitcom world, I was just an actor. I’d never worn multiple hats during a project, and it’s awesome. I pride myself on my multitasking abilities. I feel like I can do a bunch of things at once.”
“The Flight Attendant” premiered on November 26. It features Kaley’s 32-year-old sister Briana Cuoco, “Game of Thrones” star Michiel Huisman, plus “Dr. Who” face Michelle Gomez. Reviews are largely 5 star. Scroll for the major wood bathrobe action.
