Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco headed out of a yoga class in Studio City, CA this week. The actress looked mighty fit after some downward dog — sporting a top knot, black workout gear, and Kerri Walsh muscle tape.
Kaley Cuoco spent the past 24 hours in crisis mode. The “Big Bang Theory” actress took to her Instagram stories repeatedly over the weekend as she attempted – and didn’t quit – to contact an animal rescue shelter, with the videos showing the 37-year-old in an increasing state of distress.
The drama was a major one. A 15-pound dog in desperate need of a home had people keen to take him in, but The Lancaster Shelter wasn’t picking up the phone.“PICK UP YOUR PHONE,” Kaley had yelled after her endless attempts to get someone on the line had failed. In fact, her stories showed her over the hours, still failing to get the shelter to communicate with her.
It was a long story, but it was worth it. Following the drama (which we’ll detail later on), Kaley updated her stories looking drop-dead gorgeous – you can see the pic below.
Sunday was a whole different story as Kaley took to her stories to show off her Lily Bug sweater. The blonde was looking markedly more-rested than she had on Saturday, showing off a glowing complexion from a makeup-free face and what was likely a good night’s rest.
Kaley was standing in her home and wearing black yoga pants and a gray hoodie with a picture of a dog on it – she even remarked that the canine resembled her own dog Norman.“It’s a hug in a bug!” Kaley said, adding that it was “exactly” what she needed after her hard day.
The makeup-free finish was completed by a messy top knot bun – zero frills, and Kaley still looked gorgeous. The unwanted pup that Kaley was attempting to have re-homed had no name in the beginning of the actress’ stories. Kaley was seen in various states of anger, exasperation, and distress as she outlined that the shelter just wasn’t picking up.
“Pick up the phones, because someone is trying to call you to save this dog. I don’t know what else to do. I’m calling you out because I don’t have another choice,” she continued.Kaley even admitted that her video had reached the point of simply being a hope – that someone would notice it and get in touch with the shelter.
All’s well that ends well. Following many updates that saw Kaley infuriated and straight-up admitting that she wasn’t going to sleep until this was sorted, the phones were answered and fans also learned that the dog now has a name.
Kaley named the dog Muffin. Someone has also taken him in.Kaley and husband Karl Cook are huge animal lovers. Alongside both being equestrians, they are also adoptive parents to dogs – Norman is one, Blueberry is another.
Kaley has also been spotted at a rabbit adoption pop-up – in short, if it’s helping animals, Kaley’s on it.Kaley is now a producer. Her upcoming TV series “The Flight Attendant” will see her both star and produce.
In fact, Kaley’s production company is named after her dog Norman.“I launched my first production company a year ago called Yes, Norman Productions (named after my dog),” Kaley told She Knows when speaking about the upcoming project.
“I knew right away. I wanted this dog to be in my life,” she added after adopting her Pit Bull mix. As LA Times reports, Kaley was also obsessed with the breed.
“I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m obsessed with this kind of dog. I just found them to be so incredible. I realized what great dogs they were, and how horribly they were seen. And I just didn’t want that to happen anymore. So it became a passion,” she added.
