It was definitely a day for taking waves. And Hilary Duff took full advantage as she treated her boy Luca to a spot of paddleboarding in Hawaii on Sunday. The dynamic duo looked like they were enjoying every moment as they drifted along on the gentle waters.
Lizzie McGuire favourite Hilary was in sizzling form in a flattering pink swimsuit, which showcased her toned legs and bumper bust.
It comes after she lashed out at critics who mocked her figure after she wore a different one-piece bathing suit taken earlier in the week.
In a post she said she wrote ‘on behalf of young girls, women, and mothers of all ages,’ she fumed over the ongoing analysis of her figure.
She said: ‘My body has given me the greatest gift of my life: Luca, 5 years ago. I’m turning 30 in September and my body is healthy and gets me where I need to go.
‘Ladies, lets be proud of what we’ve got and stop wasting precious time in the day wishing we were different, better, and unflawed.’ The stunner’s beach figure is all the more impressive given her dietary struggles earlier this year.
The beauty previously revealed she found it challenging to eat healthy in New York while filming her show Younger amid the endless culinary choices the city presents, not least of which were the Big Apple’s famed hot dogs.
She said: ‘The skinny now is so unattainable. There are so many delicious foods in New York. Do people just deprive themselves? I struggle with it just like everybody else.
‘Sometimes I’m really on track and not eating sugar or gluten, and I’ll feel really good. Then there are times – like this past weekend at a kid’s birthday – when I see a cupcake and eat it.’
However she added she had been able to work out during her time in the East Coast with spinning and running – which was surely a boon after a baked goods splurge.
