The actress shared a carousel of images in a plunging neon green bikini on Instagram. The pictures show Salma posing in her swimsuit on a boat with an idyllic sunset in the bathroom and taking a dip in the ocean.
She also shared a video of herself swimming in the ocean. Salma captioned her Instagram post, “Every time I need to feel renewed I jump into the ocean,” with a sea wave emoji.
She added the same statement in Spanish, “Cada vez que necesito sentirme renovada, me meto al mar#oceanlife.”
Salma opened up in a February 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight about why posting pictures in bikinis is “liberating” for her.
“I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise to get into the bikini towards the end of last year,” she shared. “I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it because it was the first week of the vacation.”
The 56-year-old, who recently starred in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, is well-known for her amazing looks both on the red carpet and on the cover of magazines, she recently stunned in a silk white corseted dress on the cover of Marie Claire UK and in a plunging beige wrap dress for GQ.
After Salma posted her bikini pics to Instagram, it didn’t take long for her dedicated fans to share their love.
The post garnered a whopping 2.1 million likes and they quickly filled her comment section with praise.
Many related to her thoughtful message, with actress Kerry Washington commenting, “I feel this,” while others were amazed by Salma’s ageless appearance, “Like a fine” with a wine emoji, “Still looking amazing after all these years,” another wrote.
The compliments continued, with more writing, “She doesn’t age,” and “Thought this was a throwback!” Someone else even quipped, “aka fountain of youth”
