Hilary Duff was every inch the doting mom as she took her two eldest children Luca Cruz, 11, and Banks Violet, 4, to Tumble Kick Studio in Studio City on Saturday.
While out with her son, from her pastaMarriage to Mike Comrie, and daughter, from daughter, who she shares with husband Matthew Koma, the How I Met Your Father star, 35, rocked a linen blouse and ripped, light-wash jean shorts.
She completed her casual look with a Dodgers baseball cap, white sunglasses, a pair of gold hoop earrings, matching necklace and Birkenstock sandals.
The former Disney Channel star had her hands full as she toted her iPhone and iPad.
Her little girl wore a rainbow striped romper while Duff’s eldest wore a black and green tie-dye shirt and camouflage shorts.
Earlier this week, the mother-of-three opened up about how she maintains her lean figure in Shape’s latest Innovation Issue, published on Thursday.
During the interview, the performer revealed that she works with her personal trainer, Dominic Leeder, and admits that without him, she would ‘never work out on my own.’
Duff revealed that while meeting with her trainer, the two mainly strive to focus on her upper body, as well as ‘muscle imbalances’ and also ‘mind-muscle connection.’
‘This is the first time I’ve really trained like that, and it makes such a huge difference, especially with my core and not getting hurt,’ the former Disney channel actress stated to the outlet.
In a past article shared by Shape, exercise physiologist and sports nutritionist, Alyssa Olenick, explained the mind-muscle connection when it comes to exercising.
She expressed that it is, ‘essentially you focusing internally on the muscle and or movement pattern that you’re trying to execute.’
Hilary also told the publication that as she gets older, hurting herself or pulling muscles happens more frequently. ‘I’ll turn [to look] over my shoulder in the car to make sure I can change lanes and I’ll put my neck out.’
However, she emphasized that incorporating personal training into her own fitness routine has made a major impact in her life. ‘I walk differently. I hold myself differently. I eat better.
