Kate Beckinsale just dropped more Instagram photos this week proving she’s not ready to quit summer just yet.
In the photos, the actress is wearing a tiny black bikini and sky-high heels that show off her epically strong abs and her toned legs.
Kate, 50, works out roughly six days a week.
While the rest of us are prepping for cozy fall weather, Kate Beckinsale is out here soaking up the sun. In fact, her most recent vacation saw the actor spending lots of time in a bikini while hanging poolside. Yup, the Van Helsing actress, 50, shared new snaps on Instagram of herself posing by a pool in a black bikini with sea foam green rosettes on it (and sky-high heels) that highlighted her super-strong abs and legs.
“Went on holiday for a day. Came home,” she captioned the photo. Clearly Kate’s followers were loving the post, because they left her a ton of comments that cheered her on. Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause wrote, “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: HER!!” And another follower wrote, “Perfection, personified ✨💖 You are such a goddess 🌟.”
ICYMI, Kate is super dedicated to her workout regimen. In the past, she has worked with trainer Brad Siskind six days a week for at least an hour. “She rarely misses a workout. If she does, there’s a good reason,” Siskind told Women’s Health.
Siskind also shared more details about their work together with Women’s Health UK. “Because of her extensive skill set she built during her action movie career, she brings the same laser focus in the gym,” he said. “She busts her butt for the whole hour. No phone. No breaks. We work and I love that about her!”
He explained that he trained Kate using a method called PHA (peripheral heart action) training, which is a mix of high-intensity circuit training, cardio and resistance work. In the gym, Kate has shown off her skills, posting workout videos for her followers, including one where she’s doing hanging situps from a pullup bar. Check it out:
Kate recently got in a personal training session with another trainer, Henry Barratt, and shared a mirror selfie of her cute coral-colored Alo outfit on IG.
Yoga is another workout Kate loves. When she’s ready to get into downward dog, Kate will work with yoga instructor Mandy Ingber. In fact, the two fit in a quick yoga session together back in August. “I haven’t been injured while doing an action movie, and I think that’s partially from practicing yoga,” she told WH.
And it’s not just about the physical benefits of exercise for Kate. She loves her workouts because they also boost her mental health.
“I’m very connected to my body, so if I’m going to experience stress, I’m probably going to experience it physically,” she told WH. “So it’s usually a good idea for me to go do something physical to get rid of it. I kind of have to think of myself as a horse or something—time for a run around the paddock.”
