Naturally, she shared details from the event on Instagram. In a clip posted on November 6 to her account, we see Stefani leading the festivities dressed in a cowgirl-inspired outfit. “Its amazing to just see people who have been on the same kind of journey with beauty and their love for just whatever they want to create,” she said.
She continued, “I think there’s a lot of people out there who still wanna be creative and be beautiful and make a difference, and makeup makes you feel that way. You have a dream, and you really wanna be able to get there, but it is really about the journey. This is going to be a part of that journey today. Just being together, being grateful.”

She also talked about her personal connection with makeup in a September interview with People. “It’s part of [me] putting the armor on and getting ready to do what I do and be that version of me,” she said. “It’s really therapeutic because it’s very artful. I will listen to the gospel, [say] my prayers, and then I put my makeup on. It’s just this whole process that goes into getting on the stage.”
