Anna Kendrick can do no wrong when it comes to her red carpet fashion. The actress never shies away from trying edgy looks and showing off her amazing sense of style with daring designs and trends. But, it was Kendrick’s 2018 Grammy Award’s outfit that really got people talking. She stunned in a see-through top that turned heads all night long. Seriously, you need to see her look for yourself!
Kendrick wore a gorgeous gray, checked Balmain suit and a sheer, lace La Perla bustier to the ceremony. Menswear was a HUGE trend on the carpet, and we think Kendrick pulled it off perfectly! We’re also loving her neon pink heels and her loose, wavy hair, which adds a feminine twist to the look.
All eyes were on Anna Kendrick, 36, in a strapless, black corset-top Dolce & Gabbana dress at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures opening gala. We’re still not over this glamorous gown— from its sultry, sheer, push-up bodice to its bouffant, mesh skirt!

The Pitch Perfect star grabbed a black satin purse to complete her monochromatic look and tied her brown hair into a classic updo with her bangs swept to the side. Her timeless hairstyle helped show off her toned upper body and décolletage. She also rocked shiny Kwiat jewelry— matching the embellishments on her chic bag.
Kendrick shared photos of her all-black ensemble to her highly followed Instagram account, which fans have been revisiting in the past month looking for signs of Bill Hader (People Magazine reported that she and the Saturday Night Live star, 43, have been quietly dating for a year). Kendrick captioned her post, “2021 way too fancy edition” with a waving hand emoji while looking back on one of her best style moments of last year.
Kendrick, of course, has kept busy since then and just starred in a hilarious Super Bowl ad for Rocket Mortgage in which she utilized the nostalgia of Barbie Dream House commercials while trying to explain the difficulties of buying a house in a tight market to children. She also currently stars on HBO’s Love Life, a rom-com series.
As always, we’re looking forward to her 2022 red carpet looks to see what she has in store, but this look is hard to beat!
Anna Kendrick seems to be having a pitch-perfect getaway.
The actress recently took to Instagram to clue everyone in on her rollicking trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and she’s got the pics to literally back that up.
The actress posted a winsome photo of her wearing a backless black bathing suit while kneeling in a pool as jets of water sprinkled around her.
Anna Kendrick tweets racy joke about Ryan Gosling
“I’m bringin’ sexy back #PUNS #NailedIt #FistPump,” she captioned the image.
We’re guessing that swimsuit also helped with her tan: She earlier took to Twitter to write, “‘No [tan] lines’ doesn’t have scandalous implications for me #SPF85 #ImBasicallySeeThrough.”
The 27-year-old Pitch Perfect star also posted an elegant snap of her in a breezy white dress while sporting a yellow flower in her hair, as well as images of her hiking and crossing a rope bridge as she checked out the local sights.
Anna Kendrick’s rules for a natural beauty look
Of course, Kendrick did manage to let slip some of her trademark bawdy humor: She uploaded a pic of a shoreline with the word “BOOBS” scribbled in the sand, along with the caption: “#Maturity.”
Bangin’ bikinis! These stars love hitting the water as well
“Every time I try something new, I’m like, I found it!” the Camp star explained. “I found the only workout I’ll ever need! Then, I get so obsessed with it that I burn out and have to start over with something new. I went through phases of yoga, Pilates, barre classes and running. The only thing I’ve never tried, because I know I would be bad at it, is workouts when they yell at you: ‘Come on! Get those knees up!’”
She then discussed how she also got into a “hiking phase” at the time but pointed out why her goal wasn’t about her body size.
“For a long time, working out meant that the only goal was to change the shape of your body,” Anna said. “But now, it’s about strength and flexibility aspects, rather than appearance.”
