Maria sharapova tugs down underwear as she strips off to tiny string bikini for racy display

Maria Sharapova has been enjoying some bikini beach time

The currently suspended professional tennis player, 29, showed off her rock hard abs over the weekend as she frolicked on the island of Lanai.

The Russian blonde looked stunning in the tiny black two-piece that revealed almost all of her well-toned physique.

Maria Sharapova soaked up the sun this weekend as she headed to Mexico with Chelsea Handler .

Slipping her toned body into a green skimpy bikini, the blonde beauty looked like she didn’t have a care in the world as she relaxed on the beach in Los Cabos.

The tennis star might have had a tough few weeks, but the drug scandal which has seen suspended from tennis looked far from her mind as she hit the sand.

Chelsea – who stayed under her parasol – had the Russian beauty in fits of giggles as she lay back on the beach, protecting her face with a large straw hat.

Maria should have been deep into the tennis season by now, but following the shock news that she had tested positive for meldonium at the Australian Open the Grand Slam winner was provisionally suspended from tennis.

Her fate will now be left up to an independent tribunal to rule on the case, which could see her banned her for up to four years.

Whether or not she’ll be able to return to the sport is unknown but she’s already lost millions in endorsement deals following the scandal including a £40million deal with Nike.

Sharapova, wearing a black bikini, was seen chilling with her partner Gilkes and some friends on board a boat.

It’s believed the Russian star is in Italy for the Venice Film Festival as she was recently spotted at a movie premiere on Thursday evening.

Sharapova called time on her 19-year career in 2020 after winning five Grand Slam titles.

She famously won Wimbledon aged 17 in 2004 before going on to become world No1 a year later – the first Russian woman to achieve the feat.

Sharapova then won the US Open in 2006, the Australian Open in 2008 and completed the career Grand Slam at the French Open in 2012.

The tennis sensation won her final slam at Roland Garros two years later
