Anna Kendrick is adored for her movie and TV roles, but the Alice, Darling star is likewise loved for always injecting a little humor into her Instagram posts. In a share showing off what looked like a minor injury back in 2019, Anna told fans that she bruises “like a peach,” and the proof was in the pudding.
Rocking a casual outfit as she snapped an indoor selfie, Anna held out one arm as she highlighted a painful-looking bruise on the inside of her elbow, and over 600,000 fans have left likes. Anna is followed by over 25 million on Instagram, with celeb followers including former MTV star Jenelle Evans and Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively.

Going pared-down in a sleeveless gray crop top as she peeped her toned abs, Anna posed in front of a mirror and also wearing a black pair of Adidas sweatpants.
Holding her smartphone with one hand, the Pitch Perfect favorite held out her left arm, where a reddened area clearly pointed towards the bruise mentioned in the star’s caption.
Bruises ‘Like A Peach’
In a caption that came filled with emoji, Anna wrote: “She’s not afraid of 💉💉 but she bruises like a 🍑.” Fans always manage to turn it around, though. “That Peach Bruise because Anna Kendrick is a Beautiful Peach 🍑,” one user replied. “You might be anemic 😮,” another exclaimed.
Anna has since posted with even more humor. Referencing her lockdown in March 2021, the brunette posed in a shimmery minidress while rocking high heels.
“I’m pleased to announce that during quarantine I grew ten inches and am now officially A Tall™️. (It’s not the camera angle or the shoes. I will not be taking questions.)
Sincerely, A Tall,” she wrote in a hilarious caption. Kendrick has revealed that she’d actually planned to take an acting break prior to the global pandemic.
“You know working for a month without seeing friends or family for a month at a time,” she told The Late Late Show with James Corden.
“You know, taking a little time off and then a tiny baby global pandemic hit. I was a little like, ‘This wasn’t what I meant.’ I do feel like I’m a little bit concerned that when all this was over the powers that be will be like, ‘OK so you’re ready to get back to work.’ I meant more like go to the movies and stuff. I’m literally locked in my house right now,” the 36-year-old added.
