Before Kaley Cuoco shined as Penny on Big Bang Theory or Cassie in The Flight Attendant, she worked with the legendary late actor John Ritter on 8 Simple Rules. Kaley played Bridget, one of Paul’s (John’s character) daughters.
Â
After Ritter’s untimely death in 2003 from an aortic dissection, his family started the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health. On May 5, the foundation hosted a gala in California, and Kaley was in attendance.
For the special occasion, the 36-year-old wore a stunning off-the-shoulder white lace gown by Zuhair Murad. She completed her look by wearing her hair in a braid with soft, natural makeup.
Â
In addition to seeing photos of Kaley on the red carpet, the star also posted an Instagram, shouting out her team who put together her look, while also giving a sweet nod to John at the end. “happy girl💫 a special evening wearing a special dress @zuhairmuradofficial @manoloblahnik : happy glam @bradgoreski @daniela_viviana @hairbymarilee @jamiemakeup @lubastailoring (love you John ♥️).
Kevin Zegers who worked with John inIt Came from the Sky, as well as Amy Davidson who also starred in 8 Simple Rules, were also at the gala.
Â
For the night, Kevin posted a sweet photo with Kaley on Instagram, along with a lovely tribute to John.
” It’s been 20 years since we first met. John Ritter was our surrogate Dad. So happy to spend the night together remembering our friend and raising some money for the@johnritterfoundation,” Kevin wrote.
Â
While Amy shared, “Truly all the feels. Supporting The John Ritter Foundation and all they do for aortic dissection research and awareness is truly an honor.”
